Place at the Lake

A vision as stunning as the setting itself.

This isn’t your average piece of land. The way the earth tilted, heaved and sculpted its way into creating the Texas Hill Country makes it exceptional in so many ways. When you have that kind of palette to work with, the last thing you do is bring a cookie-cutter master plan into the picture. Instead, you tap into talent, experience, and imagination to create a place that will be nothing short of magical.

FIRST RELEASE HOMESITES UP TO NEARLY THREE ACRES ARE OFFERED from the $800’s.

EVERY COMMUNITY NEEDS A CENTERPIECE. OURS IS SURROUNDED BY WATER.

The historic club campus sets the stage for the remarkable vision ahead. Be here as lasting friendships are formed. Be here to watch the vision take shape. To celebrate. For picnics by the lake. For holidays. For every day. For kids of all ages. For a club that offers as much off the course as it does on. Fueled by passion, the team behind Travis Club is determined to bring the vision to life. Importantly, we are homeowners, golfers, neighbors, members whose families have put down their roots right here. Our singular goal is to create a club that is the fabric of our community with exceptional facilities, fine dining, and always exciting family sports and social programs. We invite you to be part of it all — right from the start.

It’s one thing to be blessed with land as remarkable as this, steeped in history, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. It’s even more impressive when the minds behind this project are as bold as the water, wildflowers, forests and meadows that run through it. The result is a community of connection, where families grow tighter and stronger. It’s where friendships come easy. Where all you need is all around you. Where sunsets are glowing, and you can count the stars at night. What’s coming together on the shores of Lake Travis is a place not found so much on a map as in your heart.

These Hills are alive

30+ miles of wonder in your backyard.

Funny how the best means of treating one’s mind often involves engaging one’s feet. With more than 30 miles of trails to be hiked, biked and strolled, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for peace, reflection and exercise as you weave your way through the rolling hills and bluffs above the lake. We like to think the trails begin at your driveway, and one way or another, lead to lively gathering places to take a breather, or strike up a healthy conversation with new friends. Pick a path, any path, and you’ll soon be on your way to a stronger body and a sound mind, all discovered under the wide canopy of those Texas skies.

BY THE NUMBERS

10,000+ feet

Our sparkling Lake Travis shoreline; host to the spectacular Peninsula Club campus, the marina and club, and the signature 5th hole.

365 days

From the homes that crown the ridges, to the bluffs along the lake, this remarkable setting is certain to be a joy each and every day.

A+ schools

Great schools are a priceless asset, and the Lake Travis ISD is one of the best in the state.

45 minutes

An easy jaunt to the airport, and even a few minutes less to Austin’s thriving food and music scene. And every convenience is just around the corner.

400 steps

It’s an easy stroll from the marina dock to the lakefront club, a perfect place to nibble and nosh, but especially at sunset after a day on the water.

0 ‘zilch’

If by chance you now call another state home, consider the priceless joy of paying no state income tax as a proud Texas resident.

30 miles

Trails. All private. All yours. To hike, bike, meander. A network weaving from your driveway to all the club’s amenities. Who knows who you’ll meet along the way?

1,500+ acres

On the southwest shore of Lake Travis is the last, and perhaps best, virgin land on the water; home to a visionary course, private club and community certain to be the jewel of the lake.

5 with a ‘th'

The 5th defines signature golf, a 195+ yard tee-to-green carry across a shimmering finger of the lake. Yes, there are shorter tees, but you probably have an old scuffed up ball…

389 feet

The 389-foot gently stair-stepped descent from Travis Club’s 1,060’ elevation high point down to the 671’ lake level affords spectacular lake views from the homesites, golf course, and trails.

155 years

The partners bringing this vision to life are richly experienced resort, residential and club developers — a collective repertoire that includes Estancia in Scottsdale, Wyoming’s 3 Creek Ranch and Clear Creek Tahoe.

18 memories

From the architect behind the master plan of PGA Frisco and the design of its West Course, another milestone from rising star architect, Beau Welling. Of his 100+ designs, this promises to be one of the most special.

your place at the lake

Dive Into the lake of A Lifetime

Snaking their way through four Texas counties, the six Highland Lakes are the lifeblood of the Hill Country. We’re fortunate to grace the shores of the longest one of them all — Lake Travis. Nearly 65 miles long, this natural playground affords a lifetime of adventuring in its warm waters. Relax poolside at the Peninsula Club or head out from our private marina on the lake to enjoy it all.

Prove to your family once and for all that you truly do walk on water.

There’s a lake that calls to us. A lake tempting us to cast lures, carve rooster tails, float across glassy waters, declare water wars with the kids, and to drop anchor and settle into a Hill Country sunset. This 65-mile stretch of blue opens up with waters that challenge us to do everything from making waves to finding peace. Catch a breeze on the open waters of Lake Travis and sail away for the day, or slip into one of the many calm coves of the lake that are ideal for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and simply lazing away the day.

Where puttering around the house actually involves putting around the house.

From the first tee to the final putt, this 18-hole golf wonder never ceases to amaze, whether it’s the green-ribboned fairways winding past oaks, finely cropped greens, or the abundance of panoramic vistas and technicolor sunsets. Golf architect Beau Welling, designer of the acclaimed West course at PGA Frisco, has walked the land time and again with a mind toward creating a golf experience that takes advantage of the drama the land presents and at the same time helps foster the human connections inherent to the game. In all, the course at Travis Club serves up a pleasant variety of diversions to help overcome a steady diet of bogeys and dreaded trips to the sand.
