Meet The team

Golf Architect

Beau Welling

The man behind Beau Welling Design never lost touch with the kid he once was, the 6th grade boy who was busy doodling course designs while others were discovering Pac-Man. Golf was his obsession. Today, that passion is his profession, one that’s been called upon more than 100 times by resorts and communities looking to fuse the finest traditions with modern possibilities. Beau leads a team of experts who bring technical, creative, and innovative expertise to each part of the firm’s work. Beau himself has also lent a hand with Texas greats such as Bluejack National, Escondido, and Dallas National to name a few. It’s the Travis Club course, however, that Beau refers to as the one “I’ve been preparing for my whole life.” With that kind of commitment backed by a lifetime of achievements, the future for golf in the Texas Hill Country is bright.

The Architects

Hart Howerton Architecture

One brilliant mind in the company of other brilliant minds equals ideas that stretch far beyond the box.
